One Dead, One Injured in Early Morning Shooting 

September 14, 2026 – Granada Hills, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the Robbery-Homicide Division, Valley Section, is currently investigating a shooting that left one adult male deceased and another injured.

On September 13, 2026, around 1:45 a.m., LAPD Devonshire Area patrol officers responded to an “Ambulance Shooting” call near Yarmouth Avenue and Ludlow Street. Upon arrival, officers located two victims with gunshot wounds inside a parked vehicle. The preliminary investigation revealed that Victim 1, a 29-year-old Hispanic male seated in the front passenger seat, and Victim 2, a 25-year-old Caucasian male seated in the driver’s seat, were inside the vehicle when the suspect approached on foot and fired multiple shots into the vehicle, striking both victims.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Victim 1 deceased at scene. Victim 2 was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.

A third individual, also seated inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting, was questioned and released.
