Search Surprise 

September 23, 2026 – Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office officials report that last week in City of Cupertino, our West Valley Patrol deputies headed to Stevens Creek Boulevard and Orange Avenue after reports of a man yelling in the street. When they got there, he tried to tuck a black bag under his arm and slipped behind a row of buildings. A few minutes later, he was back on the sidewalk, yelling again, but this time without the bag.

Deputies kept talking with him, tracked down the missing bag, and discovered a Glock-style ghost gun inside with a full auto switch on the rear of the slide. The gun was loaded with several rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber. He was safely taken into custody and booked on several felony charges at the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

Another dangerous weapon has been taken off the streets.
