September 25, 2026 – Sutter County Sheriff's Office officials report that on September 16, 2026, agents with the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), with assistance from the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office and the Gridley Police Department, served a search warrant at a residence in Gridley as part of an investigation into narcotics trafficking in Sutter County.

During the search, agents located approximately 100.94 grams of methamphetamine, along with a digital scale, narcotics packaging, and drug paraphernalia.

Teri Johnson, 68, of Gridley was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christopher Wilson, 64, of Gridley was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance, and destruction or concealment of evidence.

The Special Investigations Unit remains committed to investigating narcotics-related offenses and disrupting the trafficking and sale of illegal drugs throughout Sutter County and Yuba City.
