Death Investigation 

October 21, 2026 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 5:38 p.m., deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Read Street and Olive Avenue, in the unincorporated community of Riverside County known as Good Hope, regarding a possible deceased subject. Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased adult male at the scene. Perris Sheriff’s Station investigators responded and, after noting unusual circumstances, notified investigators with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit, which also responded and assumed the investigation.

The victim was identified as 42-year-old Lonn Lucas, a resident of Riverside. No arrests have been made. This investigation is active and ongoing, and no further information will be released at this time.
