P.O.P. Team & BINTF Shut Down DMT OperationÂ
November 2, 2026 – Yuba County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Oct. 13, the YCSO Problem Oriented Policing (POP) team arrested Keith Lowman, 43, of Olivehurst following the execution of a probation search warrant in the 1100 block of Holly Avenue.
During the probation search, YCSO detectives located a Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) operation. DMT is a powerful, naturally occurring psychedelic compound of the tryptamine family. When smoked, vaped or injected intravenously, DMT produces intense visual and auditory hallucinations.
Lowman was booked into the Yuba County Jail for several narcotics related charges. The Butte Interagency Narcotics Task Force (BINTF) responded and assisted with processing the DMT operation.
