Everyone loves a good scare on Halloween, but not when it comes to child safety. On average, children are more than twice as likely to be hit by a car and killed on Halloween than on any other day of the year. 

Downtown businesses and “Trunk or Treat” at the Courthouse will be very busy and congested areas.  The Sheriff’s Office SCOPE and Posse members will be assisting with traffic control - please DRIVE SAFELY and watch for the goblins and ghouls.

Mariposa County Fire Department supports the county with 13 volunteer stations located throughout the county.
