Since moving to Mariposa County, Kris became a small cattle rancher on Williamson Act land for 17 years and is a strong supporter of the Williamson Act and in safeguarding our rural traditions. Kris and Harold also have a successful vineyard and winery and a downtown Mariposa retail store. She understands what it takes to have a successful business in our local economy. Kris is very concerned about the need for jobs and supports home-based business with growth potential. Kris has experience with conservatively maintaining financial stability in government.Kris has been very involved in our community since she moved here and has experience working on Mariposa County boards and organizations. Mariposa Agri-Nature Trail, Rotary, Art & Wine Festival, Interact Advisory to Mariposa High School, Mariposa Community Foundation, volunteer mediator in the Foothills Mediation Center, AAUW, Relay for Life, Butterfly Festival, Mariposa County Business Assc., J.C. Fremont Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce to name a few.
Marshall Long was born here and his family is here. That is very commendable and something to be proud of. My question is “Is that enough small government experience to be our next Supervisor for District 3?”
I am voting for the voice of experience and commitment for our next Supervisor for District 3. Please join me and vote for her too. We all need to vote and make our voices heard.
