10 24 20 WeatherWarning
October 24, 2020 - A Red Flag Warning is now in effect for the Sierra Nevada foothills and mountains as well as the Kern County foothills, mountains, and desert areas from Sunday evening until Tuesday evening. This replaces the Fire Weather Watch that was in place. The combination of very dry fuels, gusty winds, low relative humidity can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

The Red Flag Warning is in effect from 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 25 to 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 27, 2020.

* WIND - Northeast to East winds 20 to 30 mph. Localized gusts up to 50 mph possible.

* HUMIDITY - 5 to 10 percent.
