March 15, 2024 - Placer County Sheriff's Office officials report that deputies made a significant stop on Hwy 49 at Hulbert Way for a motorcycle driving without a license plate. Upon consent to search, deputies discovered a set of brass knuckles, 4 grams of suspected methamphetamine, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, and a suspected methamphetamine pipe.

Subsequently, 51-year-old Howard Scott, who is a convicted felon out of Auburn was arrested for possession of these items. Good job to our deputies for their proactive police work.
