April 15, 2026 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials announce it is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that Sheriff
Mike Boudreaux and the members of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office announce the funeral arrangements for our fallen brother, Deputy Randy Hoppert Jr.
Deputy Hoppert gave his life in service to the people of Tulare County—answering the call with courage, honor, and unwavering dedication. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Details for Funeral services to honor Deputy Hoppert:
Service will be held at Visalia First Assembly at 3737 S. Akers Street in Visalia on Tuesday, April 28th at 10:00 a.m.
A memorial service will take place to pay tribute to Deputy Hoppert’s life, service, and sacrifice. Members of the public are welcome to attend and stand in support of Deputy Hoppert’s family and the law enforcement community during this difficult time.
There will be no graveside service.
We ask that those attending please be respectful of the family and follow all directions from law enforcement personnel to ensure a safe and dignified service.
On behalf of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Boudreaux extends his deepest condolences to Deputy Hoppert’s family, friends, and brothers and sisters in law enforcement.
We are forever grateful for his service and will carry his memory forward.
