April 20, 2026 – Mariposa County Library officials announce National Library Week has officially kicked off! It lasts from April 19-25. You can participate by visiting your local branch, getting a library card, joining a book club or taking part in our other events, attending StoryTime, or using a digital resource.

Some of the themed days we'd like to highlight include Monday's Right to Read Day, Tuesday's National Library Workers Day, and Wednesday's National Library Outreach Day.

There will be a special tote bag for the first 30 people who come into the Mariposa Library at 4978 10th Street and write on our display what they enjoy about using their library.

We hope you love your library and we always strive to provide top-notch service.
