The Mariposa County Environmental Health Team has scheduled their annual Mosquito Fish Distribution events!

This year there is a suggested donation of $5.00, individuals should bring a container for their fish.
Mosquitofish are small fish in the guppy family that are natural predators of mosquito larvae and pupae, making them an environmentally friendly alternative to mosquito control without the use of chemical insecticides. Controlling mosquito larvae is important because it limits the number of adult mosquitoes in the area.
