April 25, 2026 – El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on April 23rd, 2026, Detectives with the El Dorado Sheriff's Office arrested 47-year-old Joshua Lighthall of Sacramento for the October 2024 murder of Tyson Fiddler. This arrest is the culmination of a lengthy and detailed investigation, which began in October of 2024. Lighthall was booked into the El Dorado County Jail on a no-bail arrest warrant for Murder PC 187.
We greatly appreciate the patience and support of the community and those involved with this investigation as we work to find justice for Tyson.
