K-9 Willow Sniffs Out 10 lbs. of Meth
May 12, 2026 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that a deputy working patrol conducted a traffic stop for a violation on Interstate 5, east of Coalinga. During the deputy’s interaction with the occupants of the vehicle, K-9 Willow alerted his handler to the odor of narcotics. The deputy later discovered 10 pounds of methamphetamine and thousands of dollars in cash inside the vehicle. The deputy arrested two men who were then booked into jail on charges related to narcotics possession and intent to sell narcotics.
This remains an ongoing investigation. The suspects' names are not available for release at this time.
