June 25, 2026 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that a deputy working patrol conducted a traffic stop for a violation on Interstate 5, west of Firebaugh. The deputy contacted the driver and during a search of the vehicle, discovered 11 pounds of Cocaine packaged for sale. The deputy arrested the man and booked him into jail on charges related to narcotics possession and intent to sell narcotics.

This remains an ongoing investigation. The suspect's name is not available for release at this time.
