Summer 2026 Music on the Green

August 31, 2026 – For 36 years, Music on the Green has brought summer nights in Mariposa to life with the sound of free live music. This summer, the tradition continued as the Mariposa County Arts Council welcomed audiences to the Art Park for another season of free concerts featuring an eclectic mix of local, regional, and touring artists.

From the first notes of the season to the final performance, Music on the Green once again offered something for everyone. Each weekend brought a new musical experience, giving audiences the chance to discover new artists, enjoy familiar favorites, and gather together beneath the summer sky. While the music may change from year to year, the spirit of the series remains the same: bringing high-quality live music to the community, completely free of charge.

The Arts Council extends its heartfelt thanks to the musicians who performed this summer, as well as the volunteers, sponsors, staff, and community partners who helped make another successful season possible. Special thanks also goes to the Mariposa County Public Works and Parks & Recreation departments for their continued support and stewardship of the Arts Park.

After 36 years, Music on the Green remains a cherished Mariposa tradition. But traditions only continue when communities choose to support them.
