September 17, 2026 - SACRAMENTO, Calif.  — Today, Sept. 17, the Bureau of Reclamation will celebrate Constitution Day by waiving day‑use fees for U.S. citizens at its directly managed recreation areas at New Melones Lake, Lake Berryessa, and Stony Gorge Reservoir.

Constitution Day commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787 and recognizes the nation’s founding principles of civic participation, democratic governance, and constitutional rights, serving as a nationwide reminder of the document’s enduring role in shaping American society.

All other fees—including overnight camping, boat launching, and concession‑managed area fees—will still apply. Non‑resident fees also remain in place.
