Detectives Investigating Death in Selma 

September 22, 2026 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that shortly before 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Sheriff’s dispatchers received a call of an injured person at a home on the 11000 block of E. Saginaw Avenue in Selma. Deputies arrived and found an injured person who was later pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives and Crime Scene Unit technicians responded to the scene to gather statements and collect evidence. This is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public. This remains an ongoing investigation.
