Detectives Searching for Huron Murder Suspects 

September 29, 2026 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that homicide detectives are searching for two suspects wanted for murder.  They are 18-year-old Joan Pacheco and 19-year-old Giovanni Cruz Hernandez.  Both men are from Huron and have active arrest warrants.

These suspects are wanted for a shooting that took place around 4:45 p.m. on Friday, March 27th, 2026.  Fresno County Sheriff's deputies responded to the intersection of Crocker Ave. and Los Angeles St. in Huron.  Once on scene, they found 19-year-old Luis Leyva of Huron suffering from gunshot wounds.  Medical aid was given, but he passed away due to his injuries.
