October 19, 2026 – Mariposa County Library officials announce that the library is continuing its tradition of an annual Pizza and Paint Night for veterans! But this time, we are teaming up with the Mariposa Arts Council. We are so grateful to them for partnering on this.  This event was created almost three years ago and it is always a special evening.  This year, it will be held on Tuesday, November 10 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the library.

Veterans and a plus-one can attend and enjoy a free pizza meal and then be treated to a guided painting lesson from a local artist. Registration is required. Call 209-966-2140 to reserve a spot.  No art experience is needed!

We are also planning to offer this same event in Coulterville in November. To avoid confusion, details of that event will be shared separately. Please contact the Red Cloud Library or call the main branch at 209-966-2140 to learn more about this offering in the north side of the county.
