Ruff Day: TCSO Deputies Rescue Dogs from Canal 

November 2, 2026 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that this week, TCSO Deputies, alongside Cal Fire, were called to a Porterville canal where two dogs were struggling against the current.

As the rescue unfolded, Deputies worked quickly to keep the dogs moving toward safety, including offering a little encouragement when one of the dogs began to tire.
