Construction Laborer:

Full time, Non-exempt Employee.

The Construction Laborer is responsible for assisting carpenters to construct and rehabilitate homes. Laborers clean jobsites, retrieve and stage materials. Laborers may also work with an equipment operator installing infrastructure. Required; knowledge of basic hand tool operations, infrastructure installation, and general building concepts.

Starting at $10.00 per hour (DOE).

All applicants must possess a valid Class “C” California Driver's License and must be able to be insured by NFRIHA’s automotive insurance carrier. The individual must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation. All applicants must have the ability to work with people from diverse cultures, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds and possess a basic knowledge of Native American communities and always maintain cultural sensitivity.
