March 4, 2023 - The deadline to apply for federal disaster assistance has been extended for those impacted by the January winter storms.

The deadline to apply for federal disaster assistance is March 15th, 2023.

The extension applies homeowners and renters affected by the January winter storms.

The March 15th deadline applies to the following counties: Alameda, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Fresno, Glenn, Humboldt, Los Angeles, Marin, Mendocino, Merced, Monterey, Placer, Sacramento, San Benito, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Joaquin, Siskiyou, Sonoma, Trinity, Tulare, Ventura, and Yolo.

March 18th is the deadline for the following counties: Amador, Contra Costa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Inyo, Madera, Mariposa, Napa, Nevada, San Diego, San Francisco, San Mateo, Solano, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, and Tuolumne.
