Traffic Signals on State Route 41, at Avenue 15 and State Route 145, in Madera County, Will Be Flashing Red During the Overnight Hours April 28 - May 4, 2024

April 27, 2024 – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), along with Cal Valley Construction, announces that starting caltrans logothe night of Sunday, April 28th, the traffic signals at the intersection of State Route (SR) 41 with Avenue 15 and with SR 145, in Madera County, will be flashing red during overnight hours (8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.).

The following will occur:

    • Starting Sunday night April 28th, till Friday morning, May 3rd, between the hours of 8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M., the traffic signals at Avenue 15 and SR-145, along SR-41, will be flashing red.
    • Drivers may experience short delays during these times.
    • The traffic signals will not be flashing red during the daylight hours.

This is necessary, as the construction project on State Route 41, from Avenue 15 to SR-145, continues to progress.

The time frame of the flashing light may be extended, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.

Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional time while travelling near construction zones. Please be alert for construction personnel and remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
