May 7, 2024 - Fresno Police Department officials report that on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at 8:40 p.m., officers from the Southwest Policing District responded to the intersection of Fulton Street and Tuolumne Street regarding a shooting victim at the location. When the officers arrived, they learned that a large physical disturbance had occurred involving several subjects. During the altercation, a victim was shot by a 16-year-old male who fled the scene following the shooting. Detectives also identified 24-year-old Destiny Rangel as one of the individuals involved in the physical altercation. 

On April 26, 2024, the 16-year-old juvenile was taken into custody and booked into the Juvenile Justice Center for several charges, including Assault with a Semi-Automatic Firearm. Destiny Rangel is currently wanted for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and a warrant has been issued for her arrest. She is also wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on February 21, 2024, in the area of Dakota Avenue and Hughes Avenue. 

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Rangel’s whereabouts to call the Fresno Police Department.
