September 27, 2022 - I was so happy when I found out that Robert Morse decided to run for Mariposa County's School Board representative in District 3. I know Bob will do an excellent job. I first met Bob in 2005 during my tenure as principal and special education teacher (at Yosemite Valley School) and found him to be delightful to work with and great with “kids”.  After my retirement, I worked with Bob (and others) on the development of Sierra Foothill Charter School (in Cathey’s Valley), and to date, Bob has continued to be highly involved with that community school.

Furthermore, having served a term on MCUSD’s School Board myself, I believe that Bob’s input will be extremely valuable. His background (in the trenches as well as in management), and other related experiences (including involvement within the community) will be greatly appreciated by the board, as members consider the varied issues and proposals that come before them. Additionally, he has always struck me as someone who works collaboratively with others and enjoys what he does.

But one of the main reasons I feel Bob would be an excellent School Board representative is because it is evident that he’s all about doing what's right and best for kids. And that’s the bottom line.

Hence, I encourage Mariposa District 3 votes for Robert (Bob) Morse for School Board Representative in the upcoming election.
