September 30, 2022 - I am writing in support of Bob Morse for School Board. Education is rapidly changing with the large infusion of funding from the State of California. I am very interested in electing a person with significant experience. Bob has run large divisions in both Mariposa and Fresno. He has managed budgets, staff and successfully complied with extensive State regulations. He understands education funding and how the system works. This is incredibly important to know to get things done.

Bob Morse has been active in the community in the interest of children for decades. Even when working in Fresno, Bob donated his expertise and time to assist our Mariposa County schools with acquiring a new, clean air bus. That shows tremendous commitment to his community and a commitment to the welfare of children in Mariposa County. Beyond all his expertise, he is a really nice person. One of his priorities is to reunify people who have previously been at odds. He has such broad support from diverse individuals (including a letter of support from his ex-wife!) and is a problem solver that I think he can be successful. Most important, he has long track record of centering children, their education and family success in everything he does. Morse is a person of substance that has earned our serious consideration. I hope the voters of Mariposa County will join me in electing Robert “Bob” Morse to our School Board.
