September 30, 2022 - Suzette Prue, Putting Patients First.
After spending two years as the co-chair of the Save the Hospital, Vote YES on Measure O campaign, no one can doubt or question her dedication to the JC Fremont Heathcare District. Suzette’s passion is retaining quality medical healthcare in Mariposa County and seeing resolutions to patient complaints about answering phones and billing issues.
With her background in accounting, human resources, business operations and management, Prue will bring a good perspective to her role as a board member for the healthcare district. Board members do not run the hospital, they provide oversight, hire the CEO, approve policies, and help formulate a strategic plan.
As a past board member, Ms. Prue will be able to step in without the normal learning curve of a new member. She is familiar with hospital financials and understands their uniqueness in this highly regulated business. She also understands the regulatory process to build a new hospital which will be critical in the next few years as plans are developed and submitted to the state for approval.
After working with Ms. Prue on the Measure O campaign, I am enthusiastically supporting her to be a member of the John C. Fremont Healthcare District Board of Directors. I hope you will vote for her also!
