Join the John Muir Celebration and 125th Anniversary of Yosemite National Park

JMGC-knoll-1The John Muir Geotourism Center (JMGC) presents the 6th Annual John Muir Festival on Saturday, May 16th, 2015 from 10 AM to 4 PM, at the intersection of Hwy 49 and J132, the Historic John Muir Route.

JMGC is highlighting the historic “Yosemite Tapestries” that hung in Yosemite National Park venues for 40 years, now residing at the new 2nd Bench Gallery on Main Street in the center of all the Coulterville festivities.


During the day there will be fun-filled activities for families, a variety of craft and food vendors, environmental education and outdoor games in Coulterville Park.

Tap your foot to great music all day as well as participate in the Silent Auction with anniversary cake and ice cream.

There will be a hike again this year on the Bean Creek Preserve, so sign up by Monday, May 11 by calling the John Muir Geotourism Center at: 209-878-3501.
