Coming this Saturday, December 12th, 2015 is Mariposa's own "Merry Mountain Christmas".

We will be hosting a marshmallow roast in the yard in the afternoon from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Patty Favier, local author of "Maggie, Maggie"--- a children's book about her own pet therapy dog visiting the school where she taught---will be at the store to sign her books from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. It would make a great gift for the child or dog lover in your life. So come, toast a marshmallow by the fire, meet Patty, and do a little shopping in town.

At 5:15 p.m. the lighted Christmas Parade will begin to bring Santa and Mrs. Claus to Mariposa! Follow the trolley to the Courthouse where the annual tree lighting will happen. Free hot dogs and beverages will be available at the Courthouse, too, or have dinner at one of our wonderful restaurants. What a fun day, small town Christmas celebrations, Mariposa style!

 

 

We will also be sampling our delicious hot cocoas, scones, dips and pepper jellies over the weekend.

Jenny's been enjoying the warmth of the fire on these crisp days. Come give her a pet and enjoy some cozy, stress free shopping. We still have lots of Christmas décor for decorating your house and some new gift items, too. And don't forget, we are always happy to wrap your purchase for you, for free!
