Update to Homicide in Delhi
September 7, 2021 - Delhi, CA – On September 3, 2021, at approximately 9:47 P.M., Merced County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 14000 block of Hoskins Avenue in Delhi for the report of a shooting.
When deputies arrived, the reporting party claimed that her ex-husband, 48-year-old Michael Emana, shot her boyfriend, 38-year-old David Nilsson, and left the area with Nilsson in a vehicle. Deputies canvased the area and located the vehicle about two miles from the residence and Nilsson was deceased. Emana was later located and taken into custody.
