Dangerous Stop!
May 5, 2023 – San Bernardino Police Department officials report that MET Officers conducted a traffic stop on Waterman Avenue at 30th Street. Upon approaching the driver, they observed a handgun on the driver’s side floorboard, as seen in the photoset.
The driver was detained, and through further investigation, additional items were recovered. These items included a rifle, ammunition, magazines, and hundreds of Fentanyl pills. The driver was then arrested on multiple felony charges.
When does a “routine” traffic stop become not so routine?
