One Person Killed in Vermont-Slauson Shooting 

March 27, 2024 - Vermont-Slauson, CA - Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the South Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help LAPD logoin identifying the suspect, or suspects, responsible for the shooting death of a 20-year-old female.

On March 21, 2024, around 4:20 a.m., 77th Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 7000 block of South Figueroa Street.

When the officers arrived, they located the victim near the corner of 70th Street and Figueroa Street, suffering from a gunshot wound. The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
