Fatal Hit-and-Run Leaves Bicyclist Dead

May 7, 2024 – Lake Balboa, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that on the Los Angeles Police Department LAPD logoValley Traffic detectives are investigating a fatal hit-and-run traffic collision that killed a man in his early 40’s.

On May 03, 2024, around 8:05 p.m., a fatal hit and run traffic collision occurred near the area of Woodley Avenue south of Victory Boulevard. A silver vehicle was traveling southbound on Woodley Avenue at an unsafe speed when it collided with a bicyclist on the roadway. The force of the collision caused the pedestrian to be thrown in a southeast direction, colliding with the roadway. The silver hit and run vehicle failed to stop and render aid as required by law, continuing southbound on Woodley Avenue towards Burbank Boulevard.
