Department Specialized Investigations Division - Crimes Against Children Detail investigated possession and distribution of child pornography. Detectives identified Nicholas Alejandro Diaz as the suspect. At the conclusion of the investigation Diaz was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino for violation of PC 288(A) and PC 311.2(C) in lieu of $80,000 bail. Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are releasing Diaz’s booking photograph. Diaz had a foster family home and had children placed in his care in years past. There were no foster children in the home at the time of the investigation.
