Man Found Deceased at Victorville Park; Homicide Investigation Underway
June 1, 2025 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on Friday, May 30, 2025, at approximately 6:19 
a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a man down call at Village Park. Upon arriving, deputies located Robert Smith on the ground by his vehicle, with gunshot wounds. Smith was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigation Division, Homicide Detail, responded and assumed the investigation. The identity of the suspect(s) is unknown at this time. Additional information will be released when available.
