July 30, 2025 – Lakewood Sheriff's Station officials report that on July 29, 2025, proactive efforts by Lakewood deputies resulted in the arrest of a suspect driving a stolen vehicle in the City of Lakewood.

Stolen vehicles are often used to commit serious crimes, as they can’t be easily traced back to the offenders. As a result, deputies routinely take multiple stolen vehicle reports each week. Thanks to the vigilance and dedication of our personnel, more than 80 stolen vehicle related arrests have been made so far this year — and that number continues to grow.
