Fatal Collision in San Marcos 

September 30, 2025 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that a woman is dead after a solo vehicle crash in San Marcos. 

On Monday, September 29, just after 3:00 a.m., deputies from the San Marcos Sheriff's Station responded to a vehicle collision in the 500 block of San Marcos Boulevard.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a Honda sedan that had overturned. The driver, an 80-year-old woman, was found and pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation. There were no witnesses to the incident. It is not known if alcohol or other factors were involved in the collision.
