Homicide Investigation 

November 7, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 9:15 p.m., deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the 5900 block of Scheelite Street, Jurupa Valley, regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival, deputies located a 17-year-old male juvenile suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The male juvenile was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Responding deputies secured the scene and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office – Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation is ongoing. The juvenile’s identity will not be released. No further information will be released at this time.
