Inappropriate Contact with a Student
November 7, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on October 28, 2025, the Moreno
Valley Sheriff’s Station School Resource Deputies began an investigation at a middle school in the 23000 block of Eucalyptus Avenue, Moreno Valley, regarding an after-school program school employee having inappropriate contact with students. Due to the nature of the investigation, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office - Special Victims Unit was contacted and immediately assumed the investigation. Investigators learned 27-year-old Walter Henry Harrison, of Moreno Valley, had inappropriate contact with at least four students who attend the middle school and attend the after-school program.
On October 30, 2025, a search warrant was served at Harrison’s residence in the 14600 block of Cessna Lane, Moreno Valley. Evidence was collected from the home; however, Harrison was not at the residence at the time. On November 5, 2025, Harrison was located by Special Victims Unit investigators in the area of Magnolia Avenue and Hughes Alley, Riverside, where he was taken into custody without incident. Harrison was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on multiple counts of sending harmful material with intent to seduce a minor. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details are available.
