Station responded to the 32000 block of Falcon View Lane in Homeland, regarding a report of a male suffering from gunshot wounds. Deputies arrived and located Christopher Yeamons, a 33-year-old resident of Homeland, with apparent gunshot injuries. Paramedics were requested, and Yeamons was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Investigators from the Perris Sheriff’s Station responded and began the investigation to identify the suspect. Over the following weeks, Yeamons’ medical condition deteriorated, and on April 25, 2024, he was pronounced deceased.
