Human Trafficking Arrest
December 7, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on November 23, 2025, deputies from the Southwest
Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a 15-year-old female juvenile missing from her residence in the unincorporated area of Temecula, Riverside County. During the investigation, deputies contacted the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT), who responded and assumed the investigation.
On November 26, 2025, the juvenile was recovered safely in the city of Long Beach. During the investigation, it was learned the juvenile had been the victim of sexual assault and child sex trafficking, and the suspect was identified as Nestor Alexis Aguirre-Chavez, a 20-year-old resident of Wilmington, CA. The juvenile was treated at a local hospital, and a victim advocate was present to provide support.
On December 5, 2025, members from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit, K-9 Unit, and RCAHT, responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Robidoux Street, Wilmington, where Aguirre-Chavez was taken into custody without incident, and a search warrant was served at his residence. Aguirre-Chavez was later transported to Riverside County and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for commercial sex trafficking of a minor under duress, pimping a minor under age 16, pandering of a minor under age 16, transport of a minor under 16 for the purpose of a lewd act, and arranging to meet a minor for the purpose of a lewd act. Aguirre-Chavez is being held on $1,000,000 bail.

Predators and/or traffickers often utilize social media platforms frequented by children and young adults to prey on their emotional and circumstantial vulnerabilities. These potential victims communicate with these predators not realizing they are being groomed and manipulated, placing themselves in a very dangerous situation. Parents are reminded to be vigilant and monitor the social media platforms being used by their children.
The law enforcement component of RCAHT currently includes the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Social Services, and maintains a zero-tolerance policy for human trafficking offenses.
