Swift Pursuit Success 

January 18, 2026 – Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office officials report that deputies were alerted to a stolen Cadillac Escalade near Lundy Avenue and Hostetter Road in San Jose on Thursday. When the driver fled, a pursuit followed, ending after the suspect crashed into several occupied cars at Hostetter Road and Frost Drive.

The suspect attempted to escape on foot but was quickly arrested without injury. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on several felony charges, including possession of a stolen vehicle and hit-and-run.

We’re grateful no serious injuries occurred. Our team remains committed to stopping stolen vehicles and protecting our community.
