January 25, 2026 – Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office officials report that at approximately 2:00 A.M., North Patrol Deputies observed a stolen vehicle near Watt Avenue and Black Eagle Drive in Antelope and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The driver fled at a high rate of speed, reaching speeds over 100 mph while running multiple stop signs and driving onto residential sidewalks and lawns.

The pursuit ended when the stolen vehicle crashed into a residential cinder block retaining wall, causing significant damage to both the vehicle and the residence. The driver, a juvenile, fled the vehicle on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, Deputies apprehended the juvenile driver.

The juvenile was transported to a local hospital for evaluation, medically cleared, and later booked into Sacramento County Juvenile Hall on related charges.
