Detectives Seeking the Public’s Help Locating a Missing Man 

January 30, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the family of Wayne Burrell and the Los LAPD missing BurrellAngeles Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.

Mr. Burrell was last seen on January 26, 2026, around 5:00 p.m. near Lincoln Boulevard and Venice Boulevard. Mr. Burrell suffers from dementia and has a prosthetic left leg. His family is very concerned for his safety.

Mr. Burrell is described as a 64-year-old African American male with gray hair and brown eyes. He stands five feet nine inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and white shirt and blue jeans.
