Jewelry Store Robbery Case Update
February 11, 2026 – Yuba City Police Department officials report that through diligent investigative work by the Yuba City Police Department Investigations Unit, two additional suspects have been taken into custody in connection with a smash-and-grab jewelry store robbery that occurred on January 18, 2026, in the 400 block of Palora Avenue.
The suspects, Michael Sanders (24) and Kylen Byrd (21), were identified through continued follow-up and collaboration with multiple Bay Area law enforcement agencies, including the Oakland Police Department.
Both suspects are currently in custody at Santa Rita Jail in Alameda County and are awaiting transfer to Sutter County.
