Silver Alert Issued for a Missing 82-Year-Old Woman 

February 19, 2026 – Sylmar, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the family and friends of Martha LAPD logoSandoval Montero, along with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission area, are asking for the public’s help in locating her.

On February 17, 2026, around 1:20 p.m., Martha Montero was last seen in the 14400 block of Foothill Boulevard. She has not been seen or heard from since, and her family is concerned for her safety. She has dementia and diabetes.

Martha Montero has gray hair and brown eyes. She stands approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants, and black-and-white shoes, and was carrying a black rolling suitcase.
