Stolen Stash Seized
March 6, 2026 – Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office officials report that our High Impact Team is cracking down on retail theft rings across Santa Clara County.
Investigators from TJ Maxx alerted detectives to two suspects hitting Bay Area stores almost daily. One of them was already known for theft-related offenses.
The investigation led detectives to two homes in San Jose where stolen merchandise was being stored and later sold at area flea markets.
Search warrants last month uncovered more than $10,000 in cash and $88,500+ in stolen goods, mostly from Target and TJ Maxx.
Two suspects were arrested, and a third was already in state custody. All are facing charges including organized retail theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy.
Our team remains committed to taking down these organized theft rings.
