May 13, 2026 – Yuba City Police Department officials report that on April 10, 2026, the Yuba City Police Department Investigations Unit received a Suspected Child Abuse Report (SCAR) involving allegations of abuse against a juvenile victim.

During the investigation, investigators developed probable cause to arrest 34-year-old Natalie Charley of Yuba City in connection with the case. On April 28, 2026, Charley was arrested on 5 counts of oral copulation with a child under 10 years of age, in violation of 288.7(b) PC, and booked into the Sutter County Jail where she is being held without bail.

Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation and to protect the identity and privacy of the victim, no additional details are being released.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
