Officers arrived on scene and contacted the victim, who was suffering from lacerations to the head. Officers interviewed the victim and witnesses who reported the following.

The victim was driving in a vehicle with his wife, Kerry Frontino, 58 years old, when they got into an argument. Frontino forced the vehicle into park and removed the keys from the ignition. MCSO Deputies located the vehicle in the 500 block of Carmel Rancho Boulevard in Carmel and arrested Frontino without incident.

MPD Officers took custody of Frontino, and she was booked into the Monterey County Jail on charges of 273.5 PC — felony domestic violence and 245(a)(1) PC — assault with a deadly weapon. Her bail was set at $30,000.
